US and EU Commit to Enabling Transatlantic Commerce

A new US-EU Trade and Technology Council has been created to grow bilateral trade and investment relationships and avoid new, unnecessary technical barriers to trade; the Council aims to strengthen legal certainty in transatlantic flows of personal data to protect consumers and enhance privacy protections.
