An amusement park has agreed to a settlement of $36 million for mandating its customers to give biometric information before entry into the park following a customer’s class action accusing the amusement park of failure to obtain consent and give notice of the collection; actual injury need not be proven in order to qualify for damages. Customers have a right to get $200 back !
