Kentucky Bill Requires Website Operators to Obtain Consent

If passed, first and third party website operators shall not collect, use, sell, share, exchange, or store data (including cookies) for the purpose of digital advertisements unless the user gives express consent (violators will be fined $500); first party operators do not require consent for the collection, use or storage of data that is necessary for the operations of their website
