Policies: DPA Peru Clarifies Position of the Law on Data in Transit

The DPA clarified that the Data Protection Act does not apply to data in transit through Peru; the owner of a personal data bank not established in Peru that uses Peru as a point of transit is not subject to the Peruvian Law because actions for the purpose of transit correspond only to cases of temporary circulation of the information.
