ZDNet have written about Meta’s newest Privacy Policy update. Meta have been keen to confirm that they are not changing anything about how they collect data or what data they collect. This new privacy policy is attempting to make it easier to understand what data is collected.
Following a lawsuit that has been going on since 2012 and was settled for $90 million Meta appears to be trying to make the information easier to digest as a consumer. Rather than just a large amount of text they have used illustrations, videos and tables to present information.
