This bill amends and reintroduces another House bill that, if passed, would require website and online businesses (that supply goods and services to Floridian citizens) to provide notice of categories of PI collected from consumers and or sold to third parties, to comply with consumer requests to opt out of PI sales within 45 days of receipt, and to delete consumer data once the consumer has not been in contact with the business for over a year.
