Mexico – INAI Mexico Recommendation on Breach Response

Cyber attacks orchestrated by organized crime continue to be a problem and organizations must work to ensure the security of the personal data in their custody as the risk of misuse of data has grown in light of the pandemic; organizations must have in place proactive management of cyber risks and privacy in their planning and project budgets in addition to notifying data subjects about a breach that should include details such as the nature of the incident, personal data compromised and corrective actions carried out.
