A restaurant has agreed to pay a $330,000 total settlement after sending 11 million texts using an autodialler without consent; the settlement requires the restaurant to delete all the mobile numbers it used to send unsolicited text messages (including those on the do not call list), update its processes to ensure compliance with the TCPA, and ensure that any third party it hires for text message campaigns also follows the restaurant’s TCPA compliant procedures.
